Gymnastics Australia is the independent organisation appointed by the Australian Sports Commission to run and develop the sport of gymnastics in Australia. Gymnastics Australia is also charged with the management of the Australian team at an international level.

Gymnastics Australia has, as its major tasks the development of internationally competitive gymnasts, and ensuring that each individual achieves in all other aspects of their life, such as education, social and moral development.

01 Challenge
The education department in Gymnastics Australia had significant challenges training its coaches in “Managing the Risks of Coaching.” They struggled to deliver the content in a traditional offline environment. In addition, the management was very concerned about how the system would be implemented and maintained within the organisations framework.

02 Solution
The LMS (Learning Management Software) needed to be robust, flexible, and easily configurable with different functionality modules, which would be able to integrate seamlessly into the organisation’s overall education framework. The resource also utilises Carnival Media Group’s unique skill in character animation and interactive games to help with audience retention and engagement.

03 Results
The result is now considered the benchmark of sporting education websites in the content matter presented and assessed. The resource has been met with great acclaim throughout the ASC (Australian Sports Commission) associated organisations and is presently being investigated for transference to other sports.
