Acnederm Foaming Wash’s rich non-aerosol foam, is a highly effective foaming antiseptic solution that cleanses and moisturises, leaving your skin feeling soft and smooth. Acnederm Medicated Location is an oil free, invisible acne treatment with a dual action to combat pimples. When used in combination, Acnederm Foaming Wash and Acnederm Medicated Lotion remove the need to use any other cleansers, toners or moisturisers.

01 Challenge Admark Advertising and Ego Pharmaceuticals briefed Carnival Media Group with the challenge of designing and developing an online game, promoted through Yahoo7, to educate the teen segment in the application and use of Acnederm products. Working to a tight and quite potentially project-defeating deadline, a team of Carnival Media Group designers and developers were immediately dedicated to the project.

02 Solution The brief was simple; make it clear and easy for the target market to participate. Starting with the design of a logo and a physical packaging with broad appeal, in house Carnival Media Group illustrators worked closely with Admark Advertising to develop uniquely designed game characters and functionality storyboard which delivered a fun and educational online experience.

03 Results The result is the Acnederm AcneGame, where players sign up and create a profile selecting a character most appealing to them. Using a screen name and password, players can record their results and progress in the competition being placed on the leader board. The actual game sees our selected character applying topical lotion to zits and quickly rubbing them out before the time runs out. Watch out for the Golden Zit!
